Sheriff Issues Alert After Multiple Thefts at Local Churches

Catalytic Converters, like these shown, were stolen.

***THEFT ALERT***

Several of our local churches have been victimized by thieves in the past few weeks; catalytic converters are being removed from church vans and other businesses in our county. Walker County has also seen a large increase in catalytic converter thefts. Please be aware of suspicious persons and/or vehicles in your area and business properties.

If you see suspicious activities or have any knowledge of the persons victimizing our church properties, please contact our Investigations Division or submit a tip through Facebook.
