Human Remains found in Trenton

DADE COUNTY, Ga. – The Trenton Police Department just announced that they have confirmed the discovery of human remains in Dade County.

The announcement was brief and did not mention how long the remains had been there, but they did state that the GBI is now assisting with an investigation.

The Dade County Sheriff’s Office shared the following post from the Trenton Police Department on their page.

“The Trenton Police Department was notified of unidentified human remains located in the woods behind a residence on Sunset Drive. The Dade County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are assisting with the investigation. We are not releasing any other details at this time.”
