Fugitive From Tennessee Caught In Dade County

Dade County, GA- On August 4th, Dade County Detectives received information that a fugitive from Tennessee was staying at a residence on Gass Rd on Sand Mountain.
The Dade County Investigation Team began surveillance on the residence, and observed vehicles in the driveway that were known to be used by the fugitive.
After surveillance was completed on the residence, Dade County Investigators, Deputies, and K9 Handlers surrounded the residence and confirmed that the fugitive was inside.
While attempting to get the subject to come outside the residence, Dade County Units heard, and observed through a window, the subject barricading himself inside the residence.
Three Dade County K9 Handlers, along with K9 Rocco, breached the front door of the residence and made entry.
After entry by the Deputies and K9, the subject retreated to the bathroom of the residence, where he barricaded himself again.
The deputies and K9 breached the door of bathroom, where the subject was taken in to custody without incident.
The subject taken in to custody was Jeffery Adam Turner, 33, of Trenton.
Mr Turner has several outstanding felony warrants from Hamilton County, Marion County, and Chattanooga PD.
New charges are also pending in Dade County.
